Kennel Goathills
is one of the leading Cocker Kennels in Russia. The owner of the
Kennel - one of the most experienced Cocker breeder's in Russia
Larissa Polegaiko. We bought first cocker, Elsie, in 1976, and had
two litters by her: in 1978 and in 1980. In 1986 we got Elsie's
granddaughter, Asja and until 1989 we enjoyed only her company.
|
It all
started as a kennel in 1989, when we imported the first blue-roan
dog from Sweden - Wedelta's Golddigger, who joined Asja. Since
that time we had the most successful cocker-import in the country. |
|
After Alex
orange-roan Tep Flowerpower came from Italy, the happy girl
with wonderful body and chest, strong bone and lovely temperament. |
|
The elegant
black Sheerclever Delightsome Joy from Finland joined us in
1990, and her pups are best winners in the show-rings. She produced
5 champions of Russia! and many of her grandchildren are Champions. |
|
Orange-roan
Lecibsin Cardinal from Finland easily became Champion of Russia.
His fascinating temperament makes everyone adore him. Several
of his pups became Champions as well. |
So, we devote
to that lovely breed most of the time, doing all possible to keep
it up to the Standard, with true English Cocker type and temperament.
Besides, we
consider the health in the most important side, and we are happy
to say, that our Cockers are clear from any hereditary disease.
My dogs were
highly assessed by English judges: Mr.Simpson, Mrs.Caddy, Mr.Shapland,
Mrs.Roulands, Mr.Shield, Mrs.Lester, Mrs.Kay Holmes, Mrs. Sandy
Platt and other celebrities.
And thanks to
our cockers we have the most important privilege: we have
friends all over the world, and we are happy to have new friends.
Unfortunately
due to some family problems our show program is highly restricted,
but none the less you see what we have managed.
P.S. May be
you are a little surprised seing titles of "Breed Champion".
But the matter is that Russia was recognized by FCI only in 1994
and then we began getting normal titles of "CAC" and "Champion
of Russia", but before we got those "Breed Champion"
titles. For that, it was necessary to get three titles of the "winner"
(B.O.B. or B.O.S.) and there were times then, when 200-250 Cockers
participated in the show. So it was not an easy task!
